VINYASA HATHA YOGA (Open Session For Men AND Women - All Levels)
Offered as both 1 HOUR and 1.5 HOURS
Basic to Advanced poses with each student working within their own level. Each class will begin with a Chi Gong warm-up as well as a repetition of Sun Salutations, heating up the core. Continuing to use the Sun Salutations as the base, we enter into various Hatha poses (Standing Poses, Hip Openers, Inversions, Backbends, Etc.) and hold for 3 to 5 breaths. The last 15 minutes is devoted to completely relaxing your body and all of your muscles through a guided meditation.
RESTORATIVE YOGA 1.5 HOURS (Open Session For Men AND Women- All Levels)
Restorative yoga is a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props. The use of props makes it easier for you to maintain balance while you are stimulating and relaxing your body. While some restorative yoga poses are beneficial to the entire body, others target specific parts of the body, such as the heart or the lungs.We use a variety of props like blankets, bolsters, straps, and blocks to completely support the body in a variety of poses. We hold many of the poses for 1-30 minutes. Some of the postures provide passive stretching and stimulate different areas of the body. Others are designed simply to allow pure, unqualified rest.
HATHA YOGA HAPPY HOUR 1 HOUR (Open Session for Men and Women - All Levels)
We present to you an hour of balanced stretching, incorporating basic animal and warrior poses. Perfect for the person who wants to relax into yoga; this class will leave you feeling light and happy. Class opens with a Chi Gong warm up, and finishes with time allotted to continue stretching or use in self-guided meditation.
HOT YOGA 1.5 HOURS (All Levels - Not for the faint!)
One set of a series of 26 Postures and 2 Breathing exercises that focus on warming up our bodies, as guided by an audio program and demonstrated by the instructor. The room is heated to 90+ degrees, allowing us to get into postures more deeply and effectively, with benefits of the postures coming quickly! You will find that practicing yoga in a warm room creates a satisfying and almost addictive feeling of achievement.
YOGA MASTER CLASS - TEMPLE GODDESS PRESENTATION

A choreographed sequence of poses to be artfully presented in our annual Temple Goddess Presentation
THE WORKOUT: 1 HOUR (All Levels)
An exercise session designed for dancers, performers and anyone who wants to stay fit.
More than a exercise class, this is a group workout session for those who need to have a mentor and motivational partner doing the work with you. The group will work together; keeping each other energized and moving in the direction of each other’s fitness goals. Focus will be on Isometrics, Jump Rope (BYO), Core Strengthening, Pilates and more. Mats, Straps and Blocks will be available in limited quantity on a first come, first serve basis.

BASIC / FOUNDATION / INTRO CLASSES:
ART OF SACRED DANCE 1 HOUR
Perfect for New Students and those who seek to work on technique, this class will focus on developing a more mind/body connection to the dance... encouraging and empowering women to feel and find their sacred source of energy within. All moves will be easily broken down into something easily understandable. This is the core-strengthening foundations class that all other classes are born from. We will also explore the history of the dance from its goddess routes to contemporary.
DANCE FOR CARDIO/FITNESS 1 HOUR
Learn the art of the dance in a class that will have you burning calories and strengthening your core. As an extension of Art of Sacred Dance, we have you moving across the floor in guided dance routines. Every class is different and brings new insight into the art!
BELLYDANCE HAPPY HOUR 1 HOUR
A Rockin' Rhythmic Free-Form dance combining basic dance moves with Indian, African, Egyptian, Greek and other inspired influences to create a fun, high energy cardio class!
DANCE: FROM MOZART TO METALLICA (For Men AND Women - All Skill Levels) 1 HOUR
This class is great for all levels and encompasses a full spectrum of musical styles including: rock, pop, R&B, Classical, Contemporary, Metal, Funk and more. We will dance and move to more contemporary songs and music in this choreography based class. Every week will be different...different song... different styles. We will cover some basic dance techniques suitable for all genders and all sizes.
SACRED FUSION DANCE ONE 1 HOUR
(Knowledge of Art of Sacred Dance & Dance for Cardio or equivalent)
Now that you know the basics, here we put it all together into choreographed dance combinations and mini routines.
DANCE IMPROV 1 HOUR
(Recommended for students who are proficient in Art of Sacred Dance & Dance for Cardio or equivalent.)
Dance Improv will include exercises that will work on developing your dance style and self-expression without relying on a set choreography to move you. All props will also be introduced and incorporated regularly so that you will be become more familiar, more proficient and truly able to really use it as an extension of your dance.
SACRED FUSION DANCE TWO 1.5 HOURS
(Open Session - Competency in Sacred Fusion Dance 1 & Dance Improv)
Students will continue to expand their Dance Vocabulary and Techniques by adding Accents, Turns, and the use of basic props, such as: zills (finger cymbals), veils, canes,
etc. Emphasis will be placed on longer dance sequences as well as improv exercises.
SACRED FUSION DANCE THREE - PROPS 1.5 HOURS
Here we learn the art of props! From Zills to Wings, Candelabras, Scarves and Swords, we will explore the art of the Prop, and the difference between dancing with the prop as an extension of your body versus dancing BEHIND the prop.
MOMMY AND ME DANCE (For Girls and Boys ages 13 and under) 1 HOUR
This class encourages girls and boys to come have fun with their moms or aunts or older sisters. Free form movements, skipping, twirling and dancing with veils and finger cymbals or wherever the flow leads us. Childs rate $5.00 per class plus adult rate. Can be combined with adult class cards.
YOUTH BELLYDANCE (Ages 8-12)
10 CLASSES - 1 HOUR
A 10 week program encompassing all aspects of Bellydance and culminating in an in-house Theatrical Recital. Students will focus on age appropriate bellydance technique including Posture, Isolations, Shimmies, Undulations, Traveling Moves, etc in easy to understand vocabulary and repetition. No prior experience is necessary; each student will work within their own level. Breakout sessions may highlight advanced talent within their age bracket. (Hipscarf for class is included in the price) Performances will require costumes which will be an additional cost.)
(There will be 2 occasions for performance: a Christmas event and "goddess" themed show next May.)
First series of classes end in December. Second series of classes will start in February TBD.
TEEN BELLYDANCE (Ages 13-17)
10 CLASSES - 1 HOUR
A 10 week program encompassing all aspects of Bellydance and culminating in an in-house Theatrical Recital. Students will focus on age appropriate bellydance technique including Posture, Isolations, Shimmies, Undulations, Traveling Moves, etc in easy to understand vocabulary and repetition. No prior experience is necessary; each student will work within their own level. Breakout sessions may highlight advanced talent within their age bracket.

INTRO TO HATHA YOGA (Open Session For Men AND Women - All Levels)
This is the perfect class for those who have never taken classes before, for those who seek a refresher course, or those who wish to work on repetition and core strengthening. Here we will focus on the Sun Salutations and the Warrior Series, with an emphasis on posturing. Props, such as straps, blocks and blankets will be introduced to help guide you into proper alignment.
